Summary: THE MOST MEANINGFUL BOOK I HAVE EVER READ IN MY LIFE!
Review: My daughter suggested that I read this particular book. She said "Mom, It will change your life!" What can I say, except, that "Left Behind" is the One Book I shall never forget, next to the Bible, that is. It certainly makes you think about your own life, where you have been and where you are headed. After reading this, which I never laid down once I started, my life is at peace. God bless the authors for sharing this wonderful piece of work with the rest of us. PLEASE, IF YOU ONLY EVER READ ONE BOOK IN YOUR LIFE, LET IT BE THIS ONE!

Summary: A well written novel about biblical days ahead for us all..
Review: Left Behind, is a fast paced novel that contains all the escentials, foriegn intrigue, conspiracy, mystery, death, love, peril, survival, reverence, and much more. Leaves you little time for food and sleep till it is read. All the while, keeping the BIBLE's book of Revelations timing of events within its context. I congratulate the co-authors on a job well done. Great for a Christian and a must for a non-Christian. As a Christian, I enjoyed it as a novel based on the Bible. If I was a non-Christian it would definately make me take stock of where I was with God. Read, beware and prepare now for the future.

Summary: I read all 5 books in this series, in 8 days!
Review: I absoultely cannot wait until "Assassins" comes out in August! I first heard about this series through Amazon and purchased "Left Behind" and read it in one day and ran back to the book store first thing the next morning and bought the rest of the series. Read them - you can't stop!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Somewhat slow; hopfully the action will pick up.
Review: I picked up and read the book on the recommendation of my father, who obviously was very into the series and still is. After scanning the first few pages, I was very intruiged and figured I'd give the book a try.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the book. There is good action in the beginning and ending chapters, and the plot in Britain gets very interesting. Too bad it ended so quickly.

My gripe with the book is the middle portion. It gets rather slow going from day to day, hour to hour, reading slow writing on the character's thoughts and details. More action was needed here.

The beginning is a poignant reminder of what will happen after the rapture. Hopefully, when non-Christians read this, it will provoke some serious thinking about their life.

Overall, I give the book a solid average rating. I have continued on with the second book (Trib. Force), and hope to complete the entire series someday. This is kind of hard for me to do right now, since I am a full time employee and college student. However, I will persist and keep at it.

Word of note to the authors: add some more action!

Summary: On the edge of your seat reading!
Review: This book, and the whole series, is awesome. If you ever want an up todate look at the end of the world this is the book for you. If you want to see Biblical Prophecy in action read this book. Will you be left behind to discover the truth?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A soul grabbing epic presenation of the end of world!
Review: Starting with Left Behind, Tim F. Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins present an excellent dramatic and captivating epic about the end of the world as foretold in the "Book of Revelations". Set in present day, all these thought provoking reads are worth it! Soul gripping and intelligence numbing . . . is how I feel after each novel.

Summary: Couldn't Put It Down!
Review: This book was an amazingly real account of what the Bible has prophicied to come. I recommend it to anyone in doubt of the events of the earths last day when the Lord returns to take home His people...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A message so true, yet unaccepted
Review: I simply loved Left Behind and went on to read the other 4 books out so far. I cannot wait for The Assassins! I noticed some other reviews that mentioned it was too predictable. Hello! I thought. God shows us (not necessarily very clearly) what will happen in the future. Should we change that to take away its predictability? Oh, yes, not give this to non-believing friends? God works in miraculous ways and who knows that this book might be what helps lead someone to Him. We should not limit Him to what we think He is capable of. This will happen. Those not prepared will be left behind. I thank God I will not be one of those people. This book begs for you to answer the simple question, "Will you be left behind?" If you have not read this book, I encourage you to do so. Tell a few friends. God is using people like Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins through these novels.

Trust me, read one and you will be hooked. Thank you for reading and God bless.

Summary: First in a powerful and entertaining series.
Review: This book was very suspenseful and captivating. I couldn't stop reading it. One of the best fiction books I've read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intensive and gripping from the very first chapter.
Review: This is not a surypy Christian Churchy overload. The scripture references are real and true but the book is not preachy. It is an amazing suspense filled ride. It is intensive from the first chapter. I couldn't put it down. I had to read most of it in one day. Two perspectives of the rapture are given and the details are surreal. It's the personal emotions and journeys that are so amazing. It's impossible to imagine what it must be like at that time but somehow this book takes you there in an amazing way. My heart was racing through the last few chapters when it was all coming together for the characters. As soon as I finished I ordered the next book in the series. Unbelievably good book.
