Summary: If you never read fiction... READ THIS ONE ANYWAY!!
Review: I'm a "scientific type", and I hate to "waste my time" reading fiction. But, this book is an exception. EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT. If you are a born-again Christian, you will know (via the Holy Spirit) that this is all true. It matches the Bible perfectly. If you are not "born again", and if frankly, the term "born again" bugs you, then reading this book will give you a chance to see what being a _real_ Christian is all about. The book shows both those who believe the Bible, and those that don't so it is very well balanced. PLEASE READ IT! Your eternal destiny hangs on what you could learn from this book.

Summary: Spiritually Challenging, Faith Building novel
Review: This novel, and the rest of the series, have completely changed my attitudes towards the Apocalypse. I have recommended it to anyone who will listen, because I believe it will change their lives. The events in this novel are very powerful, and very true. The authors have also avoided using profanity and worldy writing, while still making the characters believable. Please read these books before you are left behind.

Summary: Fun fiction read - better than the Bible
Review: Great entertaining science fiction book but lets not get carried away with this Rapture stuff. Some great lessons can be pulled from the story, but let's not take this stuff literally. I'm looking forward to reading the next sequel (as I understand there will be 11 more). The authors figured out that they could make some money off the 'biblical rapture'. I wonder if they will get 'left behind'?

Summary: The frighting truth twisted in with a great plot.
Review: "Left Behind" was a really good book, the people in it were believable. The authors did a wonderful job of mixing the horror of the Rapture with the fact that there was still hope for the Latter Day Saints. The way they made me believe that Nicloea Capathia was the best thing that could happen to Earth, and then reveiled his identity as the Antichrist was amazing. The thing that I like most was that they really pushed the point that with out God there was no way anyone could survive the seven years of tribulation.

Summary: Amazing....Biblically sound...Enthralling!!
Review: This is THE most enthralling novel series to be found today. The characters, though conveniently well positioned, represent the general population of our Nation...knowlegable about the Bible and it's many prophecies, but too "intelligent" to think that they are possible. This series educates the reader on these very prophecies and challenges him to evaluate his own Salvation. From the first chapter to the last, the reader is caught up in the plight of those who were left behind. An emotional and gripping read.....I finished the first 2 books in as many days...

Summary: Left Behind: A True Picture
Review: This book is very special if you are of the christian faith. It gives us a reason to believe what we do. I would encourage all christians to read this book and the books that follow it in the series. Also to those who are not of the faith: please read this book and talk to some belivers about it. The research is very accurate and this does show what it will be like after Christ raptures his church. Read the book and ponder on the subjects it addresses. It is very well writen with, like I said, very detailed research. More entertaining then any other modern writer, and it contains a plot that will keep you up at night. 5 stars if not higher.

Summary: Could be a bit more complex and not so cliche
Review: I am a major science fiction reader and picked up this book thinking that was what it was. I loved most of the first book but felt the rest of the series took a downswing. The apocolypse is such a rich topic and these book could have been fantastic. The authors ignored a lot of the details, kept the cast too small, and simplified the relationships too much. I was hoping this was coming from me being a strayed Catholic and not a born-again Christian but the more I read the more I was disappointed.

Being a sci-fi fan and having read lots of end-of-the-earth aliens-take-over-and mankind-fights back fiction it could have been much better. I felt the authors "dumbed" down the characters in order to promote morality or make the plot conform. The simplification of the taking over of the world government was also annoying. This was all unnecessary and would have made a much better and frightning book if they hadn't. I will finish the series but will always have in my mind how it could have been.

This is the first book series that I wanted to research and rewrite myself.

Summary: Insulting Christian Propaganda
Review: This book reminds me of a horrible TV movie.

The characters are hokey, and completely unbelievable. The way the characters act in the situations provided are ludicrous.

I can't believe there was so much praise for such a bad novel. If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, you will also be incredibly insulted.

Summary: Wonderful! Powerful! Emotional!
Review: I could not tear myself away from this book once I began to read it. I have been having dreams about the book. I can't explain how this book tugged and tugged at my heart. I have been telling everyone about it.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Good Concept, Bad writing
Review: I am a Christian and would like to promote books like this. However, to be honest, I would have to concede that the writing is mediocre at best. The characters are shallow and rarified. Their are few facets to them and they are unrealistic. For example, this whole story involves people who are left behind after the rapture in a 'godless' world, yet no one ever utters a word of profanity. Everyone behaves in a "Leave it to Beaver" manner and the bad guys say words like "heck" and "darn". The two main characters, Rayford and Buck, are exactly the same--BORING. Also, the plot is awfully thin and shallow. The characters rarely "do" anything but sit around and be contemplative. Overall, I feel the book series is a lot of slick packaging and marketing with little substance.
