Rating: Summary: A frightening, yet true reminder that we must be prepared. Review: From page 1, I couldn't put this book down. I was pleased and impressed at how the story didn't deviate from Biblical truths. This is a wonderful book for anyone who has tried to understand Revelation. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
Rating: Summary: Excellant Read! Review: Believer or nonbeliever, this series is an excellant read! The books are very thought provoking and well written. A friend who borrowed the books and is well versed in the bible, said that they are quite accurate and has loaned the books to other people. Am waiting with baited breath for the next one published.
Rating: Summary: I could not put this one down. Review: What if the Bilblical prohesies of Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation are true? If they are, the end times will undoubtedly unfold similarly to this thrilling story. After reading this account, you become convinced that the Bible is as up-to-date as tomorrow's newspaper. Be careful, it might just change your life!
Rating: Summary: A great book about Earth's last days Review: This book is about Rayford Steele, a pilot for Pan-Continental, who experiences first-hand the disappearences of millions aroung the planet. Many people have their explination for what happened that day, but he later finds oout what he thinks is the correct one. He meets with Bruce Barns, the assistant paster of the church that his wife, Irene (who wasn't left behind), and learns the real truth behind the disappearances. Christ had raptured the church. Cameron "Buck" Williams, the senior writer for the Global Weekly, was on the plane piloted by Rayford during the event. They were eventually led to meet by Hattie Durham, the stewardess on the plane. Both knew Hattie, but for different reasons. Buck agreed to interview Rayford on his views of the cause of the disappearences. After hearing Rayford's testimony, Buck feels God moving in him. He, too, visits Bruce Barns, and they become friends. When Buck is invited to a very important meeting by Nicholae Carpathia, who is the president of Romania and is sweeping the world by storm, he finds it hard to turn down, even though he knows something that most people don't. Rayford and his daughter Chloe, Bruce and Buck believe that Nicholae Carpathia is the Antichrist prophecied in the Bible. But this is just the beginning... Read "Left Behind" to know the whole story.
Rating: Summary: Gripping - I could found it hard to put down Review: I found this book very well written. The book has an action flair with a good biblical foundation. I am recommending it to others and am going to give it to some friends that I have witnessed to.
Rating: Summary: CAN'T WAIT FOR WHAT COMES NEXT!!! Review: This series brings revelation to life! For those who believe, it will intrigue. For those who don't believe, it may change your life! After reading thru Apollyon, I'm eagerly awaiting the next book....don't make me wait too long, please!
Rating: Summary: Convicting and inspiring interpretation of Revelation! Review: While the book is fictional in the setting, characters, etc; it gives an excellent interpetation of the book of Revelation (though this is JUST THE START!). I am not an avid reader, but this book grabbed me and held me until the end. I was counting hours until I got off work to be able to read more! I just finished Tribulation Force, and am in Nicholae, and it just keeps getting better! You do not have to believe all that is in this book or The Book, but one day "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: A very interesting story. For everyone who enjoyed this one, let me make you another great recommendation--read Glenn Kleier's THE LAST DAY. Of all the novels in this genre, it is my favorite. I found it even more thrilling and suspenseful than LEFT BEHIND. Your heart will be pounding long after you finish it!
Rating: Summary: After reading this book, you will realize there is a God. Review: This book (and the rest in the series) make the book of Revelations from the Bible into a novel. Any Christian would love it! They are very compelling, awe inspiring, and they make you wonder if you have really devoted your life to God. For non-Christians, it is action-packed enough to even keep you reading. They really are wonderful and teach you what's REALLY going to happen in the end. With all the talk about the world coming to an end, you'll want to grab a Bible and this book!!
Rating: Summary: Poorly written and incredibly prejudicial. Review: Dangerous book. Conspiracy plots, subtle anti-semetism and prejudice against all who "don't believe." What ever happened to living your life as a righteous person and trying to repair this world and make is a better place for EVERYONE to live? I think it's about how you live your life and treat others that is important. Do you mean to tell me that if you are a truly good and righteous person but do not believe in Jesus Christ that you will burn in Hell for eternity? Do you all really believe that one cannot be a "worthy" person if one is not a Christian? Are you all really damning the majority of the world's population because they don't believe exactly what you do? Hasn't history shown us how dangerous that is? Unfortunately tragedies in history are bound to repeat due to a mindset like this one. How depressing and frightening! I know most of you reading and loving this book feel you are good people and Christians. Try to think about what being a good person and Christian means. Loving, caring and helping one and other because we are HUMAN BEINGS no matter what race, or religion. Wouldn't the world be a much better place if we could just adopt this phlosophy?
