Rating: Summary: Well written and in-depth Review: I have long been an audio book fan and listen to them very often. I stumbled upon this tape by accident in a christian library and I was transfixed after the first 10 minutes. This is by far the best series I've ever heard and Frank Muller is the best reader. Since I listened to this I have also gotten the other 4 tapes in the series and I am eagerly awaiting the next book, the Assassins. These are books sure to keep you guessing.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding! Review: Although this book is fiction, it depicts the rapture experience that is sure to come in such biblical accuracy.
Rating: Summary: Best read ever-next to the Bible. Review: These books have changed my life and my families. If it weren't for these books my family wouldn't be back on track with God today. I beleive God has used Jenkins/LaHaye to get the word out by writing these books.
Rating: Summary: Left Behind, the beginning of a fantastic series of books. Review: I'm not a fast reader but when I started reading Left Behind I couldn't put it down. I was averaging about 30 minutes a chapter. This book is written in a way that it allows people to imagine how prophecies mentioned in Revelations can apply to real life occurrences today. Left Behind is written to both Christian and non-Christian alike. Even if you remove all the references to God it is still a very well written fictional book. This is an excellent book with lots of twists and turns, it's hard to know what's going to happen next. I intend to complete the other 5 books in the Left Behind series and eagerly await the completion of the Left Behind movie. My thanks go to Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins for their work on these books.
Rating: Summary: I Couldn't Put It Down! Review: I had heard great things about this book, and although a Christian, weary of a "religous" novel, because how interesting could it be? Well, I read it in one day, along with the next three. I am 84th on the library waiting list for the next one. It really opened my eyes to possibilities...Some slow parts but worth hanging in there!
Rating: Summary: AWSOME 111 Review: This book tells it like it will be. I pray everyone will read this and get right with God.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I've ever read. Review: I've always been interested in "The End Times". I've read Revilations twice and this is the best repesentation of what's to come that I have read.
Rating: Summary: A page turner, but a few things bothered me. Review: If most of your family disappeared along with half the world's people, wouldn't there be memorial services on every corner? Nary a mention of even one. If you were an airline pilot, wouldn't you wonder how many pilots, air traffic controllers, etc. were left? He took off and flew without asking a question. Wouldn't you wonder if our country had a government? Our government just stood by and let all this UN stuff happen? Life just seemed to flow on, Chloe made a fast conversion, Hattie came out of nowhere to be the right hand (and whatever else) of the most powerful man in the world? A bit of a stretch and everything fell into place a little too neatly. I'm sitting here wondering if I want to read the next 3-4 books. I'm also wondering what happened next - so I guess, despite the large leaps, it was a grabber.
Rating: Summary: To affirm your faith or search for the truth, read this book Review: I really enjoyed this book. The conversions of the main characters were inspiring and powerful. I just happened to read some of the reviews posted and I have to say that the Word of God clearly states that what is seen as wisdom to believers is considered foolishness to those that do not believe. Anyone who says that this does not line up with the Word of God must not have the same Bible that I do, because this is in allignment with the Word of God. Surely, no man can predict exactly what will happen at that time, but when inspired by the Holy Spirit, people can be moved and inspired by this work. Maybe some of the harsh reviewers should read it again and try softening their hearts.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book about the ends of time Review: This book really gets you thinking about what events will be taking place during and after the rapture of the church. I believe it is a real eye opener and will help you see the urgency of telling others about Chirst and strenghtening your own faith.
