Summary: Excellent book, I could not put it down.
Review: From get go this book starts you into the the theme of what is going on. I liked the way the author gave mini symposuses of what was happening with each character at different times and how the characters lives intertwined. The author was very clever in not letting you ever know who the bad guy(s) are. Full of suspense and surprises. It is a very thought provoking book.

Summary: mARVELOUS, YET CHILLING
Review: If you have read the book of Revelations and was not impacted or felt the need for salvation, the book Left Behind is a excellent written, chilling dose of what reality could be. Of course not even those of us that are Christians can imagine what the Rapture will be like, however, the Lord is giving us warning and insight and these gentlemen has beautifully orchestrated it on paper.

Summary: Plotline thin, characters and story predictable.
Review: I applaud Tim LaHaye/Jerry Jenkins for introducing this subject as mass market intro to eschatology, however, the plotlines are thin and predictable and the characters need better development. I would recommend this book only if you are bored, and/or have no previous Biblical background.

Summary: EYE OPENING!
Review: All I can say is buy ALL the books in the series at one time! What a great read and what an enlightening way to get the message across. I know that I DO NOT want to be 'left behind'. The characters are great and you develop a relationship with them as you read each book. This series is one that you will lose sleep over ... just because you are staying up late reading!

Summary: amazing
Review: This book is so amazingly interesting. It will take your attention a second after you read it. It's very touching.

Summary: Kids Books are Super Awesome Too. Must Read!
Review: I read 1-5 of the kids series. Some parts are like in the adult books, and some aren't. I like the books so much I'm suggesting them to all my friends. Next I plan to read the adult books, which should be coming in the mail any time.

Summary: 5 star lemmings, crimeny!
Review: My kindergartener has a better grasp of the revealed word of God and definitely has shown flashes of better writing than the authors of Left Behind. All of these 5 star ratings make me ashamed to be a Christian. Why? Because the book is a lousy piece of fiction. I can only assume the high ratings are the result of the lemming behavior typical of the brainwashed victims of fundamentalist cultdom. Life is short - don't waste any of it on this book.

Summary: Most compelling series I've been privileged to read!
Review: I am thrilled to report that having read many various pieces of Christian literature, I have never found anything that holds a candle to the Left Behind series. The story grips you from the very beginning. I found myself sitting in my living room weeping during the first chapter of the book, when the reality hit me that this was more than fiction; this is really going to happen. I've learned an incredible amount about the book of Revelation, which remains a mystery even to many Christians. I would recommend this book to any mature adult, believer or not. If you are in search of the truth, curious about prophecy, or simply looking for the ride of your life, take this home. Read the entire series. I don't really have to tell you that, though. You read one, and you're hooked. I promise.

Any questions for me? Ask away.

Summary: Amazing
Review: This book takes a difficult-to-understand subject of Revelation and puts it into terms that are easily understandable. The authors do an excellent job of putting people into the book of varying backgrounds and beliefs making it easy for most readers to identify with someone in the book. Read it. It will change your life.

Summary: To Identify with a Character so completely brought tears...
Review: I was amazed to find myself in each of the characters. I am still re-examining my own christianity and constantly find it lacking. I have tried to share it with everyone I know..most recently my husband has decided to read it and is now sharing it with his friends. It is a wonderful way for non-believers and amatures to be intregued into wanting to learn more. I thank LaHaye and Jenkins for helping me see the light!!!
