Summary: Subject matter has been done better elsewhere.
Review: The subject matter of this book has been done with much better style and grace in other books such as " The End " by Matt Ronan or "Next : A Poetic Odyssey " by Lee Frank.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Definitely a must read!
Review: Once I picked this book up, I could not get enough. This great book opens eyes as to what is possibly to come. I would definitely recommend this book for reading. Now that I have finished this one, I am buying the next books in the series.

Summary: wonderful book, brought this Christian back to the Bible
Review: Excellent Book can not wait to read the rest in the series

Summary: Just what I was looking for. I could not put it down.
Review: I recently completed my MCSE+Internet certification and wanted something to read besides my training manuals. I was close to reading burn-out after thirty manuals. I wanted something that would be an easy read and would hold my attention. "Left Behind" was a refreshing change, as I read it in three days.

I am not even going into the religious debate. I will leave that to others.

If you are looking for a "highly educated" read, then look elsewhere. This is neither Clancy's "Red Storm Rising" nor Homer's "Illiad", but it is an intetesting little story.

I will state that I am a college graduate, and I do hold some of the highest certifications in my field. I believe that it was because of my background, not in spite of it, that I enjoyed this book.

More than likely, you will either love "Left Behind" or despise it. I cannot tell you how to think, but I will ask you to give it a chance.

Summary: very compelling
Review: I loved the book and hope it sends a message to many who do not have a clue about Revelations because many mainstream churches do not wish to address this book of the bible. My own, included. I do think the airline part was quite phony, especially the flight attendant portion. It seems that everyone uses flight attendants as examples of corruption. As a flight attendant myself, I tire of this. I wish my husband did not have to endure the looks and smirks behind such assumptions when folks discover he is married to one. I am a christian who hopes this book and others that followed will bring us to realize that we need to expecially address our youth problem. I have 3 older children and pray for them daily. It's difficult out there.

Summary: Superb! LaHaye and Jenkins hit a home run!
Review: I just finished reading Left Behind and I must say I could not put it down. The suspense kept me turning pages and reading as fast as I could. Near the end I felt my pulse race and my heart pound. I found myself caught up in the action of this true to life novel. I found this book theologically correct and anyone who says otherwise has obiviously never even read the Book of Revelation. These two artists image of events that could possibly unfold in days soon to come is very realistic and fits perfectly with the prophecy in Revelation. Great job LaHaye and Jenkins! I cannot wait to crack open Tribulation Force and find out what happens next.

Summary: Absolutely Wonderful Books!
Review: I have read all of the books in the Left Behind series and feel they are great. Their ranking in the sales columns must ditto the feeling. Those who do not like them obviously do not like well written suspense stories that seem so real. This has increased my study of the book of Revelation and I feel the authors are right on target.

Summary: Exciting! Well written! Thought Provoking!
Review: As a reader of mostly Christian books, I was skeptical to pick up a "fiction" book, based on the truth in the bible. I have no regrets! This is just what our society (world) needs to know now, because it may not be too far fetched. The end time is nothing to fear IF you are a TRUE Christian. The book demonstrates this well. The main characters' lives are a pretty accurate account of how most people do live their lives today, pushing God in the background of their focus. Doing that, YOU might be "left behind"! I can't wait to read the continuing story in "Tribulation Force".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Breathtaking! The desire to follow Christ is overwhelming!
Review: In LEFT BEHIND, readers clearly experience the anxiety and heartbreak of the family members when they realize their loved ones have been taken in the Rapture. The anguish they experience when they realize they were told the truth is gut-wrenching, but the readers heart will rejoice as they become dedicated to Christ and begin to spread the Gospel to others. Clearly explained, life after the Rapture is not a true life at all, only pure survival.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This will probably not be the "best" novel you 've read.
Review: However, for those of you who understand the premise of the book, I'll bet LEFT BEHIND will leave an impact on you second to no other novel you have ever read! I have purchased more than 20 copies in less than a month because I want everyone I love to read this book...NOW!
