Summary: A nice parent-child activity
Review: I bought this for my husband and 5 year old son. They have a really nice time together reading this. This book gives a Bible story with illustrations, then kind of a summary of the story and what the theme was, etc. Then, there is a section with "Dad's turn" that has a way dad can share his own personal knowledge relevant to the story. It tells you which verses the story came from, etc. Nicely done. I have noticed that some stories are missing. For example, it skips straight from the sacrifice of Issac to the story of Joseph--skipping Rebekah and Issac, Jacob and Esau, Jacob and Leah and Rachel... Overall, I think this is a great resource.

Summary: Both my Son and Daughter love it!!
Review: The wording of the Bible Stories followed by "Becoming a Man of God"- to apply the story is excellent. Both my son, age 4, and daughter, age 2, enjoy this book tremendously. We try to read this to our son every day. We all enjoy reading this book- it is a bit on the humorous side with the illustrations.
