Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very comprehensive, as it claims
Review: I have tried many workbooks, and this is one of my favorites. It is very complete, and has tons of different activities. It's about 600+ pages, but it is very diverse. There are, for example, 5 pages for the letter "A" so the child doesn't get bored, but there is enough to help reinforce the concept being taught. It is full color, and has good illustrations. My only complaint would be that it is meant to be geared for 4-year-olds, but I think it is better suited for 2 and 3 year olds, and four year olds who don't like workbooks, per se, because children who love workbooks will have most likely mastered most of the information by age four. It has bright illustrations, simple directions, and is not dependant on the previous page to understand the lesson, so even a child who has mastered all the tasks most likely will enjoy it. I thought the math section was just a bit skimpy (100+ pages) compared to the reading (200+ pages) and other skills (200+) pages, but all in all is pretty balanced and well worth the money.
