Summary: HOORAY! A BOOK WHERE STAR IS NOT THE GOODY TWO SHOES!
Review: I cannot sympathyze for star because somehow I just dislike him. I wish Star would just go away and champion would come back. I miss his spirited attitude! Star is just a perfect bum. I mean, Star wins to much. I was thrilled when he lost because he deserved it!! He wins every race except that. I mean that memerably slow race they ran was because of the other jockey. ( at least that is what it said in down to the wire). I think Star should go away from the book series and a new horse should come in, preferably a mare.

Summary: GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND LISTEN!
Review: I have not read this book, but I have read all of your fellow reviews and I agree totally (with most of them). Authors, you need some help. PUH-LEASE! LISTEN to what your readers are telling you. Your are making people disappear in thin air. Dylan? Katie? Tor? Sam? Max? Cindy? Joanna Campbell wrote ten books just on Cindy, and then she's just...gone, for heaven's sake? You can't do that to us! It makes the book seem much less real and lost it's touch. Please, LISTEN TO YOUR READERS. Okay, and then horses? Right. Champion just...died? Whatever happened to him? I thought he was famous and all! What about Glory, Pride, Mr. Wonderful...and EVEYRONE! There are so many horses missing I feel like I can go straight to my bookshelf and spend hours writing down all the people you have just...forgotten about. Yes, and Hannah, you're totally right. What about Ashleigh being pregnant again? HEL-lo? PLEASE! Townsend's Acres colors have been changed about four times; Christina's hair has gone from strawberry blonde to brown to reddish brown; AND ALL THESE CHARACTERS HAVE DISAPPEARED! Joanna, please come back. I am begging you. Or give the new authors some advice, and tell them NOT to make characters disappear! I mean, I get that you want it to be a whole new generation. But then you could at least make up some reasonable excuses! Gosh! And I totally don't get why Sam and Tor went to Ireland either. Am I missing something? I don't think so. Get with the program and listen to your readers.

Summary: Here's the deal....
Review: I love the TB series. I will never EVER give it up. I agree that the authors have to get with the program. There are WAAAAAYYYY too many loose ends now. I agree with all the reviews about that. There is one review that I have to correct something about though. When we were introduced to Cindy, that was the exact point that Joanna Campbell stopped having so much to do with the series and other authors started writing. Joanna didn't write the books on Cindy. In this book, Cindy is a major brat, but she finally gets an attitude adjustment. I was like, sheesh she's even worse than before, but then I figured, oh well it's just Cindy. Christina's longtime dream was to jump. Ashleigh wanted her to race. Ashleigh finally gave in to Chris's dream, and now Christina has decided to give in to Ashleigh's dream. I found that a little odd, but at least Christina is trying. One thing that really irritates me is when the authors mix up the physical descriptions of the characters. That bugs me so much! Anyway, the series is good, but not as good as the original first books. There should be a reunion book, maybe that will tie up ALL the loose ends. It could be each past and present character telling his/her story. That would be cool (I suggested it to Joanna Campbell in the past and she liked it). TB series, though it's had some serious issues, will remain a fave of mine.

Anyone can email me.

Summary: AWESOME BOOK, BUT...
Review: I love this book (...).

I agree about the inconsistencies.....Where did Precocious go? She was cool, but never went anywhere. And Max? Dylan and Katie are still there, but I spose coz Christina stopped riding, they're not featured as much. I like how all the new Cindy ones now are fixing those loose ends. I think there's too many different authors now though. WHAT HAPPENED TO ASHLEIGH's BABY? I haven't been able to get Cindy's Desert Adventure yet, though I got Cindy's Bold STart. and what was the go with Mona suddenly reappearing? And Sam and Tor? Plus, wasn't Parker's name "Hutchkiss Ross" or something sappy like that, when Lavinia first had him? And He was called Ross in Ashleigh's Christmas Miracle. And I've also noticed that some of the Ashleigh books don't really fit in with what's happened. Like in the first book, Jilly tells Ashleigh that she'll take her to the track, and Ashleigh says she's never been.... yeah, right. If she meant she'd never been to the backside, then she had, it's in the super edition...

Ahh! All this stress over these books. I have Aabout 65 of them. I've read them all about 5 times each. Whenever I'm bored I start over again.

Summary: What's the matter with Cindy?
Review: OK calm down "reader from USA" and listen. I think Cindy was great. She doesn't abandon her horses!! About all Cindy's horses you listed... She had nothing to do with Shining, that was Samantha's horse! And she worked wonders with Honor Bright. And I bet you never read Cindy's Heartbreak... it was the saddest book in the entire series!!! Poor Storm... but my point is Cindy stuck with him through the whole thing, tried to save his life. And Glory and those others she never abandoned! She just doesnt race them b/c their racing careers are over, doh! And you shouldn't make fun of Cindy just cause she is an orphan.

Summary: What's the matter with Cindy?
Review: this book was fine, Ashleigh is nicer than ever, so is Mike, and Christina is really nice to the horses. but Cindy is totally different. she was mean and seemed to care nothing for the horses, especially Star. And when did she fall in love with Ben? Also, it said Cindy was like this because she never had any friends. of course she had friends! she had Max, Mandy, Lauren, and Samantha and Kevin. I wish Joanna would write the books, not these authors(no offense)
