Review: I live in the Netherlands and own a copy of "Frog is a Hero" in the original Dutch. The illustrations are simple and straightforward, and very colorful. Frog is, I think, very childlike and sweet. Children identify with frog's feelings and experiences. My daughter, who is three years old, thinks that the flood in "Frog is a Hero" is exciting and a little bit scary. She appreciates that frog is brave and wants to save his friends. I would recommend this book to anyone with small children.
