Summary: A must-buy for every reading family!
Review: As a lover of children's literature, I thought I'd read the best already--CS Lewis, Dahl, Shel Silverstein, Cynthia Rylant, Madeleine L'engle. But here, from a wonderfully different perspective, is a new character and a brilliantly talented writer! Ms. Rowling kept me on the edge of my bed with her first book of Harry's adventures. Just the right mix of humor, adventure, suspense. And, in spite of the fact that much of the action takes place in Hogwarts (the boarding school for wizards), a world stranger than ours, children can and will identify with this world with kind adults and mean ones alike, the need to work hard, friendships that grow. Kids will feel a longing to attend such a school, and some adults will too! Wonderful too is the fact that girls and boys alike will enjoy the Harry Potter adventures! I look forward to all the books in the series, and I will (and have) recommend these titles to anyone looking for a way to help kids fall in love with books, or continue being in love with them

Review: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a very interesting book that captures your imagination from the very beginning until the very end. This book starts out like every other Harry Potter book, but you quickly get involved in the plot. Early in the book you discover Harry's parents died (which is one of the main secrets of the Harry Potter series). Many new characters are introduced into the book. Some of them become instant favorites and you immediately hate. J.K. Rowling makes the new characters seem believable even though they are strange and mysterious. One of the new teachers was one of Harry's father's friends, so Harry quickly becomes friends with the teacher and finds out many things of his father. Before the year ends, Harry is forced to confront the man who is supposedly responsible for his parent's deaths, but the mortal combat ends in a conclusion that you would never suspect. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you will too.

Summary: Harry Potter Is Great
Review: I read all 4 books in 4 1/2 days. Granted I did nothing all day, but read. It was completely worth it, though. Harry Potter is incredibly well-written and well-organized. J.K. Rowling in a genius! I can't wait for 5 to come out! It's perfect for all ages, everyone will love Harry Potter. It keeps you interested at every word and you can't wait to pick up the next book once you've finished one. I absolutely adored all 4 books!

Review: MY AUNT GOT ME HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, IT WAS SO GOOD THAT I FINISHED IT IN 4 DAYS. OK I ADMIT IM A FAST READER, BUT I WON'T READ A BOOK IF I DON'T LIKE IT. I READ THE 3rd TOO AND LIKED IT EVEN BETTER THAN THE 2end. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE 4th. I'LL PROBABLY BE DONE WITH IT IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE HARRY POTTER MOVIE COMES OUT. Summary: This is a great book for wizard lovers everywhere.
Review: My son is in his twenties and has not picked up a book since high school. After I read all four of the Harry Potter books, I discussed them with him. Since the first of the year he has read the first three books. He looks forward to the end of the day when he has a chance to read. I am an avid reader and was thrilled that Rowling wrote books that creates pleasure and excitement about reading. I have to admit I have read them all more than once myself. All Harry Potter books are extremely well written and curiously entertaining. I am grateful to J.K. Rowling.

Summary: Fantastic books. a must read no matter what age..........
Review: ok i was sitting here reading the revews and i relized some people are not relizeing how fantastic harry potter is. I admit when this first came out i didnt want to read it. you know all the hype. but my dad (im 14) works at amazon an he said harry potter sales were coming in pretty good so i said what the heck let me try it out. up till about then i hadn't read anything but Romance novels for about 3 yrs, and im a fast reader so i was reading about 2 or 3 a day(6-10 hours or reading 4 me). When i got the book i was like ok an i put it off for about 2 days, But you should have seen me when i got started. i was up late (abt 3 in the morning) and i couldnt sleep i had school the next day so i figured why not stay up till my parents come to wake me up (5:30) i wanted something i hadnt read and the only thing was harry potter so i said 'why not' not only did i stay up all night but i got in trouble the next day for reading it again in class. this is an absolute must read.i've read one and two and i love them. if you dont like these books you havent read them. and if you think you think some one is gonna get lost in this an think its real and not fantasy you have a real low opinion of them or the're under 5. sides everyone needs a little fantasy and fun in their life why not make it through books?
