Rating: Summary: A Dance For Three-Tatum English, Giovanna Peppe Review: I Will always remember this book. I 'm 15 years old, and I'm not much of a reader but when I saw this book I was in love with it. Louise Plummer captures the life of a 15 year old girl so well. This book will make you laugh, make you cry and even bring the characters to life. If there was a Hannah I wish I was able to talk to her because she makes you pretty much just want to be her friend and be there to help her. The book changed how I viewed teenage parenting alot and now I understand what some unlucky people have to go through. It is about a girl who is 15 years old and is very much in love with her boyfriend and vice versa. Hannah finds out shes pregnant and since her boyfriend "loves" her so much she thinks he will be happy when she tells him the news. Well thats not what exactly happend...see when she told him he hits her and When her mother finds out she thinks Hannah is nuts because she also tells her mom she thinks her boyfriend milo will marry her. Because of the shocking reactions she got from all these people who she loved and her fathers recent death she became temporarily insane and ended up having the baby in the hospital. Her crazy roomate "poppy seed" help eachother through their problems and she slowly returns back to her normal self.
Rating: Summary: A good read on a snowy/rainy day... Review: After her fathers death her mother hasn't quite got back to herself. Ok, so face it! Hannah is now the "mommy" in her family. She cooks, cleans and manages to be a full time student."Watch over my baby, daddy. Watch over him. If you are there, watch over him. Are you there daddy?" At the age of 15, Hannah Ziebarth has found herself in a tight situation. She's pregnant. After Hannah tells Milo he got her pregnant it was an immediate blow to the face. Soon after shes left there with blood dripping down all over her uniform from work. Hannah really looses it when she sneaks into the back of Milo's 4-runner and catches him having sex with his ex-girlfriend. Caught up between her emotions and reality, Hannah learns a valuable lesson. Not all people are who they seem to be. A Dance For Three by Louise Plummer was a fantastic book. It's a glance of reality for those who think everything in everyone's life is "perfect." I enjoyed reading this and I think that this is one of those books that you just can't put down.

Rating: Summary: A Dance for Three Review: After reading A Dance for Three, by Louise Plummer I felt like Hannah Ziebarth (main character) was one of my friends. I really enjoyed the way the author wrote this story, as if I am standing right next to Hannah experiencing what she's going through with her. Milo is a very frustrating character (plays the part of a former boyfriend) along with Milo's family, besides his brother Roman, because they are all stuck up and stay only in their business. They do things only if it makes their family look good. Overall I recommend this book to everyone, especially teenage girls because it shows the reality life of a teenage pregnant girl who feels she's in love with teenage boy that eventually wants nothing to do with her.
Rating: Summary: Dance For Three Review: Dance For Three by Louise Plummer was a fantastic book. The book started off slow, but it didn't take long before I developed a feeling of friendship and concern for this fifteen year old girl. Hannah and her boyfriend Milo find themselves in a situation. Hannah is pregnant. After telling Milo the news he denies it, hits her several times and leaves her abandoned in an alley. All of the problems that Hannah is having to face, such as the pregnancy, the death of her father, and the sickness of her mother causes her to be mentally unstable forcing a neighbor to commit her into a institution. Hannah struggles with the facts, but later realizes that things will work out if she begins coping with her problems rather than running away from them. She works hard with the help of her friends and the therapist to heal from all of the hurt that has built up inside of her. Finally, Hannah has able to put the pieces of her life back together and finds a new self identity and happiness. This novel is a great example of how a teen deals with the reality of a pregnancy. I would recommend it to anyone that can relate or simply just enjoys reading realistic fiction.
Rating: Summary: A Dance for Three Review: I have just finished reading a great book called A Dance for Three by Louise Plummer. I think that Hannah has cleared her mind at the end because her mother was getting better with her emotions and Hannah was through alot but made it through in the end. I enjoyed reading this book because certain parts of the book some teenagers could relate to it with pressure, friends, boys, confusion, not knowing what to do or how to react. I was interested throughout the book because I had many questions so I kept reading and reading. I don't exactly know why I enjoyed this book. There was just something about it, it seemed so realistic with details on how her life was. She seemed like any other teen. "I don't want to lose you. She said I'd lose you if I didn't change. I don't want that, Hannah. I want to be your mother." Hannah's mother says this on the phone. I think it was important for Hannah to hear this since her mom has been weird since her father died. The theme of the book is that even though people surrounding you always have advise and in the end you always make the decision on what you think is right. I agree because it's like when Hannah made the decision for her baby. Hannah's mother has also decided to do better in getting out more. I think that I do relate and others do relate too because I hear family, and friends opinions but finally come up with my own solution in the end. I would recommend this book to others especially teenagers. A friend recommended this book for me she too enjoyed it. I would recommend it because it is an interesting story that seems real and others can relate to. You just want to keep reading about how Hannah and her pregnant situation and what the end will be like. Was this review helpful? yes or no
Rating: Summary: codi a. per. 9 Review: I just finished reading the book A Dance for Three, written by Louise Plummer. This book is about a young girl, Hannah Ziebarth, who loses her virginity to her first love, Milo Fabiano, and gets pregnant. On top of that, she has been through a lot of changes in the past two years. Her father suddenly passed away and now her menatlly ill mother won't leave the house or pick up the phone. Hannah is left to deal with taking care of her mom, the house, herself, and pretty soon, a new baby. This is a lot of pressure for a 15 year old to deal with and one night after Milo denies being the father of the baby and beats her up, she has a "psychotic episode." Before she knows it, she's shiped off to the psych ward of the local hospital. There she meets "Poppy Seed," her drunken roommate. Together they try to survive hospitalization and help eachother understand the meaning of life. This book deals with teen pregnancy, mental illnesses, love, friendship and family. i thought it was an excellent book because it discussed some issues teens deal with today, and the author used wonderful imagery to help you understand the emotions of the story. i think the plot was well devloped and never once did I not understand what was going on. I really enjoyed reading this book and felt that many teenagers could realte. I strongly reccommend this book.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE this book! Review: I love this book! I bought it about a year ago, and I have read it four times I enjoyed it so much! This is a really great book, and you just cant set it down once you start. I really reccomend this book if you like books that hook you in and dont let you go.
Rating: Summary: codi a. per. 9 Review: The book "A Dance for Three" was both boring and interesting. boring because in some parts it was slow and made no sense, but in most parts i couldn't put it down. What i liked about the book was that it showed what a young girl can go through if she gets pregnant at a early age. You can make your life a living hell, because your not ready for whats coming. You also find out that not all the guys are the same. Some will leave you and some will stay with you, so you should know the guy before you go further in your relationship. The thing that I disliked about the book was that Hannah, the girl who gets pregnant in the book, gave her baby up for adoption. It was so stupid of her to do such a thing because she went through many things just to keep the baby and at the end she gave him for adoption. I think that young teenagers should read this book. Boys because they can understand what a girl can go through if they dont take responsiabiltys. And girls would understand that being a mother is not an easy job. Yes, i would read another book by this author.
