Review: This is a very touching story of a poor, elderly woman who spends her last few coins feeding all the stray cats in the neighborhood. It's a wonderful story to use to teach children about having compassion for animals and respect for the elderly. The book also shows how two lonely, elderly people eventually become friends and learn to respect each other, care for the neglected stray cats and feel compassion and sympathy for unwanted animals. I would highly recommend this book to everyone as it teaches lessons that many could benefit from learning in this society.
