Review: This story is perfect for kindergarteners beginning to read. My daughter had her birthday party at our local ice skating rink. I included this book in her classmates' goody bags and the feedback has been terrific! Her friends loved the story because it mirrored their own first experience at the ice rink. My daughter enjoys reading the story because of its rhyme. There's enough words she recognizes mixed with new words she can sound out, making this a fun book to read as well as a book leaving your new reader feeling very proud of herself by the end!
