Rating: Summary: Good Review: I liked this book, because I've been a fan of Parker since he was introduced. This book is really very close to what goes on during those big events and the life of an eventer, so much as I know. But here's anwser to a widely asked question: The story doesn't end itself because the editors/publishers cut off the last chapter to make the book shorter. ..
Rating: Summary: Read Me A.S.A.P Review: I think that the book Team Player was AWESOME!!! I think that Parker and Foxy are ready for the Olympic team but Parker does need some help on being a team player. i think that it stinks how he and Christina broke up. i hope that they get back together. i hope that Foxy will be okay. i think that in the story she shows a lot of heart and trust for Parker. I also wonder what's going on w/ Melanie and Cindy?! I already own every single Thoroughbred book (1-51) and all of the specials. THIS IS A BOOK THAT U MUST READ...A.S.A.P!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: this book is bad! Review: Let me see--Parker, the perfect child. Whoa, suddenly he needs money? GASP! Oh no! So he gets a horse, which should be left out, he deserves the break. Foxy is almost killed, what happened to Parker like promising never to hurt her way back when he first got her and hurt he? Well? Parker, you're a horrible character. Will someone get the facts right please? We can write better then these writers. C'mon guys!
Rating: Summary: Parker ? Foxy ? TB is going downhill ! Review: Ok first off. This book was ok. Not great not horrible. If you like a good read about Parker than go ahead. Give this book a try. If you are a loyal TB reader then I would say read this book and be very dissapointed. Parker gets a new horse - which Ihappen to like alot. He still has Foxy but what's up with Foxy...? I mean come on writers !...Argggg...... Ok Parker has been a great character from the beginning - well at least I liked him. This book makes parker almost look bad. What has happened to funny never cares about a thing Parker!...Double Humph. All I have to say is that this book series ended at about book 24. I want the old charcters and the old series back.
Rating: Summary: Good Book!! Review: This is an amazing book!! I loved and would recomended it to anyone!! It does consentrate only on Parker and Foxy and the Olympics though. Even though it does do that, it was a good break from all the racing. I can't wait for the next book!! It leaves the ending in mid-air!!! AND it's shorter than the rest of the books. The only thing that's bad about this book is in #49 it taked about racing and Cindy and all of that, then in #50 (this book) it jumped right to Parker and never even talked about Cindy or Ashleigh. It was a great book, but stop jumping aroud!! I hope the ending comes out in the next book soon!! If you don't have this book or didn't read it, get it AND read it!! It's really good!! It keeps you guessing, and it leaves the ending in mid-air, so you'll just have to wait and keep guessing for awhile. Thanks for reading!! P.S. There's a surprise about Parker and Christina!! Can't tell you about it, guess and read......
Rating: Summary: Parker ? Foxy ? TB is going downhill ! Review: Usually, I love all of the Thoroughbred books and read them over and over. I really don't like Parker though and I was really disappointed when the whole book was about Parker and his problems. I don't like how he's never satisfied with anything and how he always gets mad over stupid things. I was really mad when he almost killed Foxy. He seems to do that a lot now. I don't like the way he's treating Christina either. I think the author did a good job with this book but I just don't like Parker or anything about him. I really hope they break up, it's been coming on for awhile.
Rating: Summary: I LOVED IT!!! Review: Wow, this book was excellent. I loved it! I've read ever single book in the series and this was one of my favorites. The only thing that I didn't like was that the story really didn't give much of an ending. Be prepared for that if you buy it. I was really wondering what happened there. This book is excellent for three day eventers, or horse lovers. It talks a lot about Parker not doing much with Christina, who's busy with preparing Star for the Derby. This book is a must to all Thoroughbred and Horse Book Collectors!
