Summary: Good Book
Review: A reader's first impression towards Losers INC. might be that it is a fictional and very weird story. But soon you will find out it is a story of friendship, love, and much more.
In the beginning of the story, Ethan and Julius are known as losers, they are proud of it too. So they start a club called Losers INC. They had to figure out who would be the president and the vice president. Julius deiced to be the vice president, he thought it would be more loserish. Then a day later at school, they had to tell about their book report they had just did. And of coarse Ethan picked a book that was only 72 pages. While Lizzie did a book that was 225 pages. Ethan thought Lizzie was a class pet.
A tiny bit later in the story, Ethan started to notice that Lizzie had a crush on him. He didn't like her though. Ethan liked Grace. In math class, Ethan was having trouble with a problem or two so the teacher asked if Lizzie would help him, of coarse she said yes. Ethan learned a lot from Lizzie when it came to math. Well, a few days later, Ethan said to Julius that he was going to read A Tale of Two Cities, which had 425 pages. Julius thought Ethan was crazy and thought he could never do it. Then the next day at school, Ethan got assigned to work with Lizzie for Peer-Assisted Learning {PAL}.
A little bit later then that, Ethan told Julius that he loved the book. It was a story that took place in the 1700s. And he went on and on about it. Ethan was trying to beat Lizzie is the next book report. He wanted to do better and prove to everyone that he wasn't such a loser. Well, during PAL time Ethan's friends and him were watching Lizzie write a poem, they deiced to do a prank on her and tell her to enter a contest that they had only knew about. Well, Lizzie fell for it and she asked them for the address it should be sent to. They gave her Marcia's cousins address, who lived in Washington DC. They said it would make it more official if it was sent to Washington DC.

After that, During study hall Ethan read more of his book, A Tale of Two Cities, he was now on page 260. Ethan's brother had told him if he liked A Tale of Two Cities he would like a book called The Yearling. A few days went by, and Ethan finished his book, and now it was time to read his book report aloud. But before he had read it, Mrs. Gunderson, the teacher, did it in A B C order for who goes first and last. And Ethan's last name started with an W. So after Lizzie went Ethan asked if she could go backwards. She never really thought about that. However, his friend Julius Zimmerman, had to go next, and he didn't finish the book, yet he didn't do his project. Then Ethan had gone and read his book report and the teacher asked him to stay after class, She said, "I don't know how to say this but I would rather you read the shortest possible book, rather than rely on the plot summaries to pretend you read something you didn't." Ethan said, "But I did read it." And it went back and forth till Mrs. Gunderson believed Ethan.
Before Ethan knew it Valentine's Day was here, and he didn't know what to expect for anyone. He defiantly didn't know what to get for Grace. Lizzie sent him a Valentine's Day card, and she sent a poem with it too. During Science they had to light a bunsen burner, Lizzie was the only one who couldn't do it. A lot of people made fun of her. Ethan was the only one who didn't. He stayed after and helped her try to light the burner. She did it. They did it about three times.
Sooner days came, the science fair was coming and Peter and Ethan were going to be in it, for two very different things. Ethan knew that Peter would win no matter what. So the day came where they got judged on their projects. Ethan's was very cool, everyone was around him looking at his bouncy balls. All in the end though, Peter won. Their parents were happy for both of them and told them that they would have a "party," for their goodness. But Ethan knew it would be all for Peter. So Ethan said he didn't want to have a party, and Peter suggested that they go out for Pizza and Ethan didn't want to go but he did anyway.
Later, Ethan started to notice that he liked Lizzie. That day, he wanted to tell her about that poem contest. He wanted to say it was all a prank but he couldn't. It would have been to mean he said. He couldn't believe that he was in on it. Well, a couple of days later she got a response saying she won. She was so excited. But he couldn't keep it in anymore, somebody had to tell her and it was going to be him. So he told her and she ran crying.
In the end, it was great, Lizzie submitted it to a National Writing Contest. She won in that one. She was happy and this one wasn't a prank. Ethan told her that he liked her and she still liked him A LOT. And he was relieved. At then end of their 8th period they got report cards and he got 3 A's and he was so happy. It was because of help from Lizzie.
The whole book, Ethan was trying to prove to people that live was unfair but all in all it wasn't. The book had a lot to offer. I think it showed or at least tried to show, you shouldn't do mean things to people, Shouldn't call them a loser, and that you should just be you and not try to do things that you wouldn't usually do. I don't think it failed anything. So I think you should read it and find out for your self.

Summary: A Have to Read Book!
Review: Losers Inc. was a very intriguing book. Claudia Mill's style of writing was very interesting. At the end of each chapter she left you up in the air, so you wanted to read more. The plot was very humorous. I found it very unusual that Ethan and Julious formed a club for losers. I also enjoyed the fact that that Ethan and Julious were in love with the new teacher Ms. Gunderson, and Lizzy (the lizard) was deeply in love with Ethan. The characters were very realistic and funny at times. I liked Ethan, the main character, the most. His life was very entertaining. The book that he wrote, about how unfair life can be, was absolutely correct. I enjoyed this book completely and I would recommend it to others

Review: Losers R us
Losers Inc. by
Claudia Mills

There are two boys Ethan and Julius. Them and other people think they are losers. So they start a club called Losers Inc. because they are not very good at anything. there is a science fair coming up and they usaully do it toget her, but Ethan wants to do it by himself. Then he thinks Juilius is mad at him.
One of my favorite parts of the book is when they go to there substitute's house because they realy like her. "Which apartment is hers?" Ethan asked "I guess we'll have to look at mailboxes," Juilius said. Then they go out and sit on the curb and she comes while they are there.
It could be funny and excitig at times. So people who like that kind of books might think it is good.
I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Review: The book I read was Losers INC. It was about this kid who is oin these losers group, it takes place around when they were middle school people. Ethan, the main character, was the vice president. He finds this girl and has a choice of trying to impress this girl and not be a loser, or stay with the losers and not go for the girl. This book is Fiction but in life it could actually happen.

I would recommend this book to anyone who would have the same "friends or fame" kind of problem. Anyone else can read it also. A kid would like this book, maybe a teen. It would have the same kind of problem in life and could help out a little. When i read this book i kind of had the idea that it has happened to me once. The plot, the choices. The plot i liked alot. It was one of the greatest books i had ever read. The title was good. At first i thought it was non-fiction but it wasn't. There are 2 themes, one the girl isn't everything. The 2nd theme is you don't have to be a loser to get the attention you want.

Summary: Losers Inc.
Review: This book is about two friends who came up with a club called Losers Inc. In the end though, they realized that nobody is a loser and to keep on trying to achieve your goal. In the first part, Ethan, the main character, kept a journal called "Life's not Fair: a book of proofs by Ethan Winfield". He had so many entries because of his big brother, Peter Winfield. Peter Winfield was so perfect that everyone found it hard to believe that Ethan was his brother.Julius Zimmerman, Ethan's friend, came up with a club called Losers, Inc.
One day, Ethan sees a new student teacher and he tried hard to impress her that day. Julius, however, had fallen completely in love with her. Both of them, then, found themselves not being losers. Ethan tried hard to impress her that he ended up with rumors spreading around in his school that he liked Lizzie Archer. That part however, was the part I hated.I thought that this was a pretty dumb scenario.
What I liked was very, very, little. This is because this book is about losers, nothing very special or exciting about it. The part I liked was when Ethan stands up and says that he wants to do his present his project first. I thought that that was a very brave thing to do. It gave him a big step to maturity. I also liked the ending when both of them weren't losers any more and closed the club forever. I thought that this was a good thing to do because he learned to never give up and it gave him hope that someday, he'll triumph.
