Summary: Tale of a Persistent Mouse who Perseveres-Our Favorite Book!
Review: About two months ago, I purchased this book for my 3 year old, who is a very persistent little person. She loves this book because she likes to sleep in her parent's bed when she can't get to sleep, just like the Little Mouse in this story, who in the end, after asking many times, "Can I sleep in your bed?" finally gets to sleep in Big Mouse's bed. To my daughter, the moral of this story is that persistence pays off!

I love the book because the story is funny and very "real" to us: tired Big Mouse looks like this tired Mom some nights. My daughter and I also read this book at bedtime almost every night because the illustrations are the BEST of any book we own. They are gorgeous, full of color -- they splash across the pages, and are so creative, making the Mouse home a magic wonderland. I think my daughter would find it hard to get to sleep in the Mouse home, because it looks like such a fun place to play and explore. This book is a winner!

Summary: wonderful!
Review: This is a wonderful book. My daughter is 20 months and will not go to bed for naps or in the evening without it. The illustrations are just superb and have so much to talk about and marvel at, and the story is great. I think most of us have been little mouse at some point in our lives! I love this book and am sure it will remain a family favourite for years to come.

Summary: wonderful!
Review: We first checked this book out from the library on a whim. I'd never heard of the author and was just trying to grab a few books on the fly to keep my son entertained. He immediately fell in love with this book. He asked me to read it repeatedly, and it has now become his all time favorite. It is a shame it is not as popular as some of the other children's books out right now, for it is every bit as well written. It is a definite must for your child's bedtime book collection!
