Rating: Summary: A great book to give to your kids Review: Let's face it. Most kids like and/or own dogs. They're going to want a book about dogs! This is the one to give them. This book explains simple but interesting things on dogs, and also provides some fun facts and training tips.
The easy reading and pronounciation guides are a great way to get kids into reading. Plus, the book has a cute, touching ending that could possibly turn kids who don't care that much for dogs into kids that like dogs.
For an easy-reader book, Why Do Dogs Bark isn't exactly short. This is great, as it can make its young readers rise to the challenge of steadily starting to read longer and longer books.
Overall, adults, teens, and older children should already know everything the book says, and not enjoy it much, but this is a really great book on dogs to give to younger children. And there's one on cats, too!
