Review: This collection of three wisdom tales, beautifully illustrated, is a book for children and adults to share. Told in English and Tibetan, it contains a foreword by the Dalai Lama, a colorful glossary, and information about Tibet. Readers of all ages can immerse themselves in the wisdom and peace of Tibetan culture, while children will enjoy the simple stories, engaging characters, and lively illustrations. Naomi C. Rose has done a remarkable job of taking ancient wisdom from the East and making it fun and simple for children of the West. As a writing teacher for children and a former librarian, I believe that this book can be enjoyed on many levels. Young and old can apply the wisdom from each story in their daily lives.
