Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Loving Therapy for the Chronic Thumb Sucker Review: As a childhood thumb sucker, and now mother of two chronic thumb suckers, I know how hard it can be to break this pesky habit. Desperate for a gentle solution I found Nancy Evans Cooney's tale! This story loving tells of a boy named Donald and his love of his thumb. My four-year old son could easily relate to this young boy's life: his dog, his baby sister, how he was growing up and learning to do things all on his own, and of course his love of his thumb. After reading this story my son began to walk around the house saying, "Conner says, 'Thumbs down!" It certainly hasn't made the thumb sucking stop but it is a getle reminder that when he is ready, Conner like Donald will find many other wonderful things to replace his beloved thumb. I highly recommend this book!
