Review: Dear World is a breathtaking first endeavor for author Takayo Noda. Internationally known for her exquisite cut-paper collages from handmade paper, she puts to words what her artwork expresses.

Each poem is a jewel in and of itself. The poetry is startling in its simplicity, yet that simplicity is riveting in its unique, stark and chaste form, making one catch one's breath at its pure beauty, demanding we take more notice of the wonders of nature.

The artwork is achingly beautiful and cheerful simultaneously. This is a wonderful book to introduce children to the magic of poetry and the beauty in simple everyday events. Highly recommended.
