Rating: Summary: An excellent attention grabber for the 2nd-6th grade group! Review: As a substitute teacher, I always need a quick time filler. Haunted Schools never leaves my book bag! I can bribe the students for hours with an "I'll read Red Rock Spirits" later if you are quiet. Once they hear one of the stories, they will do anything, yes anything, to hear another. I have been fascinating classes with this book for 3 years now. I have actually had students look me up over the summer to get me to read them the ending to a story if the bell rings before we finish. The stories are just creepy enough to be interesting, yet not enough to give nightmares to the littler ones. I always begin the telling by reading the introduction where Allan tells how the stories are really true....and of course we read them with the lights out! Attention all camp out leaders, teachers, sleepover planners, BUY THIS BOOK!
