Summary: Absolutely the best book on oceans for kids
Review: I bought this book for my 5 year old who loves the ocean. Believe me we have more books on the subject than I care to think about. This one is by far the best I have seen. The photographs are superb. The knowledge is good yet simple for kids to follow and understand. I think I am having as much fun reading it as my son does.

My 5-year-old daughter adores this book so much that she takes it to school for Show-and-Tell. Thanks to the clarity of the description of zones, she refers to the three levels of our house as the daylight zone, twilight zone, and midnight zone. The photos are vivid, the text is clear, and you can read as many or as few nuggets of information as your kid wants to hear - they're all self-contained. You just can't miss with this one.
