Review: This beautifully illustrated book tells the story of the shepherds and some townspeople searching Bethlehem for baby, finding him, and celebrating with a meal of milk and bread and dancing. It isn't very clear on why this baby is special, but it does say "Come see the world made new. The same old world, but new." In fact, it never uses the words "Christ" or "Jesus" but the holy family will be unmistakable to those familiar with THE Christmas Story. On the whole, a beautiful addition to a Christmas library.
