Summary: Cody, Rebel Leader
Review: ...
In the year 2057 a boy stands against the evil CCR, The Confederation of Consolidated Republics. His name? Cody Pierce, or known to the CCR as White Fox. The CCR thinks that he is one of the best pupils in their "brainwashing" classes, but he is really planning to save his fellow political prisoners and escape. Will Cody liberate the camp and defeat the CCR? There's only one-way to find out. Read the Book!!!

This was another one of Gary Paulsen's classic adventure/survival books. He has made Cody able to survive on his own. Its adventure because one time when Cody was bruised and sore he helped a fellow escape-e not become dehydrated by putting a rock in each of there mouths. He also, when they were thirsty, cut open a cactus to drink the liquid inside. This is an example of an adventure book because Cody blows up an entire army base!!! (Not the one he is trapped in)

I would strongly recommend this book to anybody that is a Gary Paulsen fan, or anybody that likes adventure/survival books.

Summary: Big GUNS
Review: Bringing together the three books titled "Escape," "Return," and "Breakout," this young adult novel is set in the year 2057. The world is a far different and more hostile place. The United States of America no longer exists, broken apart by the evil tyranny of the Confederation of Consolidated Republics known as the CCR. The CCR controls most of the former United States through their jack booted thugs as well as former Americans turned traitors. Prison camps are everywhere as the CCR seeks to further control the dwindling population.

Enter Cody Pierce, a fourteen-year-old boy who has had to grow up the hard way. Confined in a prison camp by the evil Colonel Sidoron, he is secretly plotting his escape. He has lulled the commandant and his troops into believing that he too has joined their ranks. Bestowed with the nickname " the white fox" for his actions and blonde hair, he soon shows them his true nature. He has a secret agenda and plans to make good use of their belief that he is one of them.

Soon he makes his first escape from the clutches of the CCR and begins a journey that will take him full circle back to this camp. He will fight for survival repeatedly and be forced to kill and kill again.

This novel, while written, is extremely violent in nature and downright rough in spots. This novel is currently on my local school district's recommended reading list for middle school, which covers grades 6 thru 8. I'm not sure that is appropriate and that it wouldn't be better suited to an older grade level. Like any other novel or story, whether the work is appropriate or not depends on the maturity of the reader.

As a parent, I read the books my children are assigned and would strongly caution parents to read several sections of this 280-page novel if not all of it to get a feel for the character as well as the violence within this novel. This is a very good book that is simply not appropriate for some children.

Summary: Best Book Eva Wrtten
Review: Fourteen year old Cody who lives in a prison guarded by CCR (Confederation of Consolidated Republics) solders. When a US rebel pilot, whose name is Toni, is brought there, Cody goes and rescues her and Cody's amazing journey begins. During the journey they meet other Americans and CCR people. When Cody meets Rachel at a farm, she agrees to help him since at the time he was injured. Later he meets his friend before he went to the prison. His friend Franklin gave him a place to stay for a while. After that he goes to try to complete his plan. Along the way he finds some allies and gets there help, but first he has to do something for them.
The story is about loyalty, trust and most of all friendship. Through out the book Cody makes friends that help him, and teach him stuff. Cody learns fast and almost never forgets. That's why the CCR called him the White fox. Cody has a lot against the CCR, and all of them have to do with friends and revenge. This story is mostly action and violence.

Summary: Best book ever!!!!!!!!!
Review: This book begins in the year 2057 when the evil CCR takes over the United States. Our hero Cody Pierce a 14 year old boy who's parents were killed by the evil CCR and was sent to a prison camp to work. With him and his friend Toni they will escape this evil prison and will travel across this wasteland filled with adventure and excitement and hope to bring down the evil CCR. Will Cody and Toni rebel against the evil CCR and overcome them? Read this book and find out! This book has a striking amount of violance put into this book, but i think that is what every middle school boy wants to read. M.W.

Summary: The White Fox Chronicles: Escape, Return, Breakout
Review: This book is about a blond thirteen year old named Cody that lived somewhere in the late 21st century. America has fallen to the the Germans. Tricked by their kindness for free money. People are now trapped in jails throughout the whole nation. Cody escaped the prison and meets with a secret (last defense) against the Germans...
What I like about this book is that it's very exciting and filled with adventure. It gives you the feeling for you to keep on reading.
My favorite part of the book was when Cody forced a (German) General to take off all his clothes and lock himself in a cell. It was very funny. I couldn't stop laughing. This was one of the most exciting book I have ever read in my life.
