Review: I always checked out Lorna Balian books at the library when I was little; she was my favoritest author ever, and still is. I love the little guy and I've always empathized with the little girl. I want this book for my kids if I have any, and in the meantime for my friends' kids.

Review: I have wonderful memories of checking this book out of my school library in 1st grade - every week! Then when I was 13 I found it once again in a Christian bookstore on vacation in Tennesee. After a move my softcover copy was water damaged - I have been searching for years for a copy. This book is a must if you have a child - I am almost 30 and still remember the pictures and story in great detail. I look forward to reading this to my children someday.

Summary: Our favorite
Review: When my daughter was little, we had to check it out every time we went to the library. We finally just purchased our own copy. Now my daughter is in college and I am reading it in my second grade classroom. I love to read it the day after Halloween when kids are full of candy, but it's fun any time.
