Review: The best book I have found for all around Language Arts. It's well balanced with an initial writing topic for the first half of each chapter, giving writing examples of each style and then following it with a breakdown of the writing process step by step. The second half of each chapter focuses on grammar, with extra practice exercises in the back of the book, followed by a comprehensive Chapter Review and/or Unit Review. We have been homeschooling for 8 years now and this is the text I would recommend to any parent/teacher who likes a complete, easy to follow textbook for both student and teacher.
