Review: When I was pregnant with all four of my children, I bought each one a copy of The Snow Goose and read it to them every night while listening to soft "comfy" music. Now, they have done the same for my grandchildren. It is truly one of the best war stories ever written. The people are believable, my heart hurts for Firth, Rylander and the goose at the end of the story, every time I read it. This story makes the war and people come alive with emotions unfounded in any other story.
