Summary: My 8 month old son and I love this book!
Review: My son loves flap books, however the Jack series is the best out there. The flaps are large and accomodate small hands. The colors are lively and stimulating and my son "Jack" just loves it. I believe this book helped develop his love for reading books. At eight months he was opening the flaps himself, and anticipating the "pop-up" ending which always made him laugh and wriggle with joy. I just love watching his reactions to this book and I can tell how much he loves it. I can't wait to get every single one of these "jack" books for my little Jack.

Summary: A simple, colorful, interactive book that's fun to read!
Review: This book is the only book my nine month old son, Jack, wants to read. He has learned how to lift flaps and turn pages from this book. He anticipates the "surprise" behind each flap and tries to pick up each of the dog's clothing items. And he loves the pop-up of Jack and his toys at the end. Of course, I am certain that my son likes hearing his name repeated on every page as I read. I will definitely purchase the other Jack books. Keep writing them, Ms. Elgar!
