Rating: Summary: Plauged by a lack of variety and flimsy paper Review: Although wonderfully drawn and researched, This set of costume paper dolls is not as well-done as most Tom Tierney paper dolls. There is only one set of costumes for every 4 years, which leaves huge gaps in the fashion trends of the era. The paper used is not the usual sturdy posterboard-like material but more like glossy paper, which would not hold up to wear and tear. If you are going to buy these for costume research reasons, I would recommend "La Mode Illustree" for a lot more variety and scope. If you want to use these as paper dolls, I would not recommend these. I cannot imagine them lasting more than 1 or 2 uses.
