Summary: Amy, Number Seven
Review: " The director was handed a file. He opened it, examined the few pages inside and then closed it. 'Why are you showing me this? The project was terminated five years ago.' ... 'There is evidence that something may have survived.' The director looked up with interest. 'Something? Or someone?'

Amy, Number Seven is a gripping masterpiece by the relatively new author, Marilyn Kaye. I was obsessed with the tale of Amy and her struggle to remain unnoticed. The pages flipped through my hands while I was reading it. Mysterious conversations appear in the book seeming unconnected until you help Amy unravel the tangled strings of her life. Amy is a regular girl with a lecturer mother and a dead father until overnight she obtains supernatural powers. Other uncanny events stride into her life. A complete stranger is taking pictures of her, a mysterious birthmark appears on her back, and the vice-principal of her school is not only is a troublemaker but seems to know every detail of her short life. Even more surprising is the ever-reoccurring dream that seems to come from her past. This author's use of flashbacks, realistic dialogue, significant conflicts and convincing character development makes Amy's race for survival seem eerily real. I think all teenagers who love mystery and suspense with a hint of romance would love this book. I strongly recommend Amy, Number Seven.

Summary: If you want to get hooked on a series this is the one
Review: Amy Candler thinks she's a normal 12 year old girl who's in seventh grade but she starts to posess special talents. She's smarter than everyone and can figure out complex math problems in her head. She also can run faster and jump higher than Eric her best friend's ninth grade brother. Plus she can do olympic twists and turns in her gymnastic's class and do a triple toe loop on the ice even though she's never ice skater before. Amy's definetly not normal. She's perfect. Amy goes to find out that's she's a clone from project cresent moon that Nancy Candler ( her mom) worked at 12 years ago to create 12 other "Amy's" for a supiriour race. But after they created the 13 "amy's" they burned down the whole project and sent the other " amy's" away. They did this because a orgaization wanted the " amy" clones for evil. But Amy better watch out because the orgaization knows she's out there and still wants her for evil.

This is a great book to get the series started. If your like me once you read this book you'll want to read them all!

Summary: Surprise! Your a clone!
Review: Amy had to write a report about her life. The problem is that she didn't know anything about herself, or the hospital she was born in! Amy tries to find her birth certificate or something about herself in the school records, but when she sneeks into the office with her best friend, Tasha, she meets the new, mysterious Assistant principle, Mr. Devon. Mr. Devon covers for her and she looks in her folder, but it's empty!!! She soon finds out- and I won't tell you how- that she wasn't "born" at all! She was a genetically engineered clone! That's not it! There are 11 other replicas of her and they are all in danger! A secret organization for the government wants to use them to make a master race!!! Read this awesome book to find out details and more about the mysterious, Mr. Devon. Who's side is he on? You'll have to find out! This book hooked me on to the whole series! I guarentee it will hook you! Go to [Amazon.com]to view all of the Replica books!

Summary: Amy, number seven is a hit
Review: Even though I'm well above the reading level of these books, I still get a kick out of reading some young adult series'. I have found that some of these series' are a lot more interesting to read than the grown up books.

I came across the book the other day while browsing my local Borders, and picked it up because the title caught my eye. I sat down to read it, with no intention of buying (I buy almost all my books on this site), but I accidently spilled my coffee on it, and was forced to buy it. Lucky me! I read this book in one sitting. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself cheering for the main character, Amy Candler, as she finds herself becoming faster, smarter, stronger...she's becoming the perfect girl! Being the first book in a series is always tough, because it is the one that gives the back story and sets up situation for future books, but this book did a wonderful job of whetting the appetite of the reader. I'd love to get in to the details of this book, but I won't. All I'm going to say is, GET THIS BOOK! You won't regret it. If you are a fan of other teen science fiction series', you'll love this too.

Summary: My favorite series's fateful beginning...
Review: I am a 13-year-old girl and I just want to say that this is my favorite series of books! I was at a small book store with my Mom, looking for books to buy for my 2-week-long camping trip with my grandparents. I had a limited budget and noted the big sticker that said [price] on this book. My best friend had recently read it and told me it was really good, and the price, persuaded me into buying it. I'll never regret it. I own all 22 books and I love them so much. They are really interesting and are realistic to what us teens are like, unlike many authors who think they know us but really don't. These people aren't constantly going "Waz up?" and Amy isn't obsessed with her clothes and hair. Amy's different then everyone else. She notices it. Her best friend Tasha notices. Her Mom notices. And to Amy's dismay, her crush, Eric, Tasha's older brother, notices too. She can see farther, run faster, learn things quicker, and do pretty much everything better than your average 12-year-old girl. Her father died before she was born in a freak car accident in some country she can't even pronounce. The house her parents used to live in before she came around burned down, destroying everything. Her mother teaches College Biology and hates to talk about Mr. Candler. She's been acting really overprotective lately. A strange man with a camera is stalking her, and she has the same mysterious, recurring dream. Her Mother won't let her join the US Olympic Team when her coach tells her she has the potential because she doesn't believe in competition and fears Amy will develop an eating disorder. So she says... When Amy has to write an autobiography for Language Arts, she sets out to find out about herself. How far will Amy go to find the truth and at what price? A real page-turner, there are currently 22 books in this exciting series by Marilyn Kaye! Book #23 is coming out in June and I can't wait!

Summary: Good Book
Review: I rellay like Amy #7. I first read it at a friends house, and I loved it. There is a lot of suspense, but not too much. It's about a 12 year old girl, who discovered she is better at everything then everyone else. She also finds that she can see farther and hear better. Then she notices a man is stalking her, and taking pictures, and she is getting das that no one else gets, like a free manicure. She finds out her weird past when she is assigned an essay about her family...

Summary: A Girl With a False Life
Review: This book is about a girl named Amy Chandler, who finds out soon after her twelfth birthday finds out that she is different from others and is more powerful then she thought! It takes her most of the book, but in the end she finds out that she is a clone.
Amy was a little slow for some who is supposed to be perfect, but the author writes a good story, and I found this to be an enjoyable read. My favorite character is Tasha, Amy's best friend. She can sometimes be a little annoying, but for the most part she is just a good character, who also happens to be funny (although I don't think she intends to be most of the time).
