Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: *I think this book was one of my favorite books.Read it! its great !
Rating: Summary: forgotten Review: another thing I forgot in my Nov.24th review- Chris didn't get into racing because of her mom- it was because of Star. And i don't think that's fair either, to drop eventing and sell sterling so quickly, as if dropping an unwanted toy.
Rating: Summary: More Racing! Review: I love the throughbred seris over-all. I mean I love horses and everything about them. This is one of the best written seris I have ever read about horses. I even like the romance. But I must say that I was a little dissapointed in this book. I was really getting into the jumping topics. Then suddenly, WHAM, racing again. I mean, isn't enough enough? We had 3 generations of racing. I think it can only repetative from here on. Also I don't like how the author protrayed Ashleigh. From what I know of her, she wouldn't act like she does in this book. There are some very fake parts that drive me nuts too. Such as the part with Perfection. A last dissapointment was how predictable the book was. Aside from these things I liked the book. I just hope we haven't begun the racing cycle again. If you are a major racing fan, you will probably enjoy this book. Sorry I sounded so negative, I really do like this seris!
Rating: Summary: um yeah Review: I read this book a while ago, and it doesn't really stick in my mind. By I wanted to agree with what I saw someone say: Ashleigh became pregnant in one of the earlier books, when Christina was a little girl. We've never heard anything more about that! Chris was supposed to have a little brother or sister, and we never find out about him/her. I would like it if that's explained in a later book!
Rating: Summary: Racing is back!! Review: I think that this book was great!!! The only problem is that it said Seabreeze was a pony(she isn't) and that Leap Of Faith was a dapple gray (she's a chestnut). What happened to the foals from Princess. Mr. Wonderful, Wonder's Champion, etc? And Sierra and Fleet Goddess? Where did Heart come from? Where did Stone come from? Also, where did Cindy go? They should hire her to ride for them or something. OTherwise, this book was great!!!
Rating: Summary: A gret book! Review: I think this book was great! The author clearly says that somebody ELSE started the Faith color thing, and she was confued.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: ok, i need some people to e-mail me or write these answers in a review for me, or something, b/c i have no idea what is goin on!!! how does everyone know that joanna campbell has been talkin to these authors? how do u know that she wanted them to change the books so much? please tell me b/c i want to know, so i can see it for myself. and y does everyone think cindy's so bad and snobby, the same w/ christina.and isn't it a little unrealistic in the later books that christina desides 1 day,"hey!! i think i want to sell sterling,be a jockey, and forget my whole dream of being an olympic jumper!!" i mean, i don't like eventing as much as racing, but u don't right a couple of books about her dream & then suddenly she drops that dream and the books go abruplty back to racing just as abruptly as it came. plus, y in the world did sammy move all the way to IRELAND!!!!!! come on people!!!!
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: This book was really good. You can almost imagine it happening to you. That's all I have to say.
Rating: Summary: Ok..Ok.. Review: This wasn't one of the better TB Books! First of all,Seabreeze is a Registered Appendix QH! Not a pony! And "Pride's Perfection".. Where did that come from? I would like to see more of the racing start coming back, more of the orignal charecters(Pride,Wonder,Sierra,Ashley, ect)and Johanna to start writing agian! I think the idea of Tor & Sammy opening there on farm was a good idea! I recomend this book for any of the TB Readers.. Just so you wont be lost on the next book!
Rating: Summary: what happened? Review: Well well well, I started reading these books when they first came out I have quite the collection although as soon as Cindy was suddenly gone i lost interest in them. It seems as though she was never really a member of the family of characters that young girls across North America have come to love. My sister is now starting to read the books and has started complaning about how everything always works out. I say its a series so why make every book have a mushy non thought provocing ending. It is to bad that they have changed so much but if people are still reading them all the power to you. Also I LOVE jumping but the whole idea of the thoroughbred books was racing, I just wish that the story lines would stop jumping around so much try to keep your characters and plots the same for a whole year at least.
