Rating: Summary: Georgia authors make history come alive Review: As a native of Athens, Georgia, home of the famous "Tree That Owns Itself," I can tell you that this book by Watkinsville, Georgia authors, Gail Langer Karwoski and Loretta Johnson Hammer, is a must-have addition to the library of all Georgia history enthusiasists, young and old alike. In twelve fictional stories from different periods of Georgia history, Karwoski and Hammer bring historical events to life in a creative and entertaining way. It's also a valuable teaching resource that all elementary school teachers can use.
Rating: Summary: unique in a good way! Review: This book was by two of my fourth grade teachers. I enjoyed being a student. They were always nice and had excellent imaginations. When they wrote the book, I immediately bought it. And I was really surprised about the book. I read it over and over again and I love it! I recommend this book to everyone that is a book lover.
