Review: Children learn best by doing and doing is what they get to do in this book. With the turn of each page the children anxioulsy await what task they will do next. My 5 year old loves filling the tank, driving it along the road, and running it through the car wash.

Review: Our 21 month old just adores this book - and it's so appealing we can understand why. She loves all the activity - filling the gas tank and turning the steering wheel. And she has learned all kinds of new words and concepts. And almost as important - it occupies her for whole minutes at a time!

Summary: Great book concept - poor execution
Review: While my 2.5 year old daughter loves this book, I am afraid it will not last very long. The interactive gas pump, oil dip stick, and other features are not constructed for a child to use. The cardboard bends easily, and the slots to stick the devices in are not readily usable, even for an older child. Hopefully upon future printings the publisher will upgrade the above.
