Review: After watching the movie, I simply HAD to read the books...they can be summed up in one word. BRILLIANT!!!
I read all three of the books in this collection in less than a week. I simply couldnt put them down. I would recomend these books to anybody over the age of 10 (some scary content that may not apeal to the younger readers)...these are deffinatly NOT just for children...I'm 24 and trying to wait without biting off my nails, for the 4th book to come out in paperback.

Review: Fantasy is not my favorite genre, so I took a long time before reading Harry Potter.It was a big mistake. These stories are great. The plot has friendship, sadness, happiness and more than a little bit of suspence in it. Plus, Hogwarts is like almost any muggle school - teacher's pets, nerds, trouble-makers, and a lot more. I started Year One and less than a week later I was reading the last page of Year Three. Great books. Oh, and Year One book was much better than the movie, which was great anyway.My favorite character is Hermione, because she comes from a muggle family, starts as a nerd, but ends as the best friend of all, and because she is a girl and she is smart.

Review: Harry Potter in the 3 books experience talking with snakes, meeting Lord Voldemort, and experienceing and learning lods of spells and enchantments. If you are into magical and mystial these are the books for you. Who is Harry Potter you might ask/ well he is just a famous wizard who is being taught enchantments and spells at the finest school around/ Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry/ who is under the finest headmaster hogwarts has ever seen Albus Dumbledoor. You have got to read these books if you have not already they are imaginative and creative Joe Rowling is so amazing and you will not be able to put her books down. So read Harry Potter if you have not already it's worth it!!!!!!

Review: I bet you've heard this before but-If you haven't read this book, turn off the computer and go read it! This book, really, is almost unbeatable! Young Harry Potter is dropped on his Muggle realitives doorstep because his parents were killed by the darkest evilest wizard ever, who is known as You know Who. When Harry turns 11 he recieves a visit from a mysterious half-giant named Hagrid. Finding out he's a wizard, Harry Potter is shuffled off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he is known as the boy who lived because he survived the curse of You Know Who. While there he meets loyal friends, hated enemies, and battles up to the least you would expect. This book will capture your heart and you will laugh and cry at the same time. You will be very pleased with all of them!

Review: I just started to read the Harry Potter books.They are wonderful going through the tells of Hogwarts.If you like wizards abd witches on flying broomsticks, this book is right for you.But at my school Harry Potter books are banned, because it involves witch craft and stuff.I go to a privite school so thats a big deal to them,It's also banned from the badwords.Like no kid has heard them all before anyway.But anyway, I suggest the Harry Potter Books to anyone.

Summary: the amazing Harry Potter
Review: It was b4 the release of the 1st harry potter movie that prompted me to read the books. At the time, it was big news about the upcoming movie, everybody was talking about it. So i was just really curious about the books and wondered why they're so famous. And i went to the library and borrowed the 2nd book, and once i started reading it, i couldn't stop laughing nor could i stop reading. cuz it's just so good! you can just totally put urself into the book, it's like a whole new world. it's just like "magic"!!lol. and then i read the 1st and the 4th book in one week. now i've read all of them so far and i've also seen the first and the second movie just tonite. and i can't wait to read the 5th one. if u haven't read any of the harry potter books, u should. they're awesome. really!!

Review: My girlfirend's mother wanted to go see the movie and I thought she was crazy. Anyways she dragged us along and I had very little interest in going. Well after seeing the movie I bought the first 4 books that weekend. I had them all read within 3 days, no joke. I highly recommend Harry Potter for anyone ages 1 to 150. I am patiently waiting for the next book......

Summary: Binding will not hold up to hard use
Review: My two children have already worn out a set of hardback Harry Potter books, so I don't know why I thought a paperback set would survive any better. Maybe I thought since they had read the others at least three times each that this set wouldn't get the same wear. I was wrong. My children (and husband) keep reading these books over and over. And the books are starting to fall apart. When they wear this set out, I'll get the best hardback set I can find! If your set won't get this kind of wear, it is a fine set.

Review: So. The Harry Potter phenomenon. It seems anywhere one looks, you'll see Harry Potter, whether it's these new action figures at Wal-Mart or it's the new movie. I decided I would find out what the world was so absorbed in, and picked up the first three books. What can I say? I haven't enjoyed reading something this much in a LONG time. Cleverly written and chock full of fascinating characters, the reader is immediately transported to a magical world of house ghouls and crazy little elf things that bang themselves on the head. "Sorcerer's Stone" is just a great story that will leave you completely surprised. "Chamber of Secrets" kept me on the edge of my seat, with the character of Gilderoy Lockhart, the pompous overblown wizard inciting me to laugh out loud. (and remember, Kenneth Branaugh is going to be portraying him in the next film!) "Prizoner of Azkahban" also kept me holding my breath, with such a delightful twist at the end you will be shaking your head for days. Get someone to be reading it with you, because you're going to want to talk about it when you're done. Rowling has created an entirely believable world, and it is a delightful treat to take a break and visit your imagination. The game of quidditch is always a fun time, as well as the crazy episodes Harry and his friends always find themselves in. Pick these books up, you won't be dissappointed.
