Summary: Wonderful books for little girls, too!
Review: My grandaughter has just visited a farm with her pre-school class when I gave her a copy of Tractor Mac. She was thrilled with this charming book and wants to read it every day, even after several weeks. Billy Steers' wonderful illustrations and story seem to make the experience she had at the farm come alive for her again. I think it will continue to be a favorite book and will appeal as she gets older and understands more of those great explanations of the tractor and horse "parts and trappings." We look forward to more books from this talented illustrator and writer.

Review: Tractor Mac is a wonderful story about a farm horse who is placed in temporary retirement by a tractor. The story and illustrations are wonderful and the story has been a great way to teach my son about farming.
This is a definite must for kids who love farming or parents who want a great book to read to their kids.

Review: When my then 2 year old son saw this book in the store, he immediately pulled it off the shelf and began to "read" it. I was thrilled to find a story about the changes in farming and the transition to machinery. The illustrations are also bright, fun and educational. Mr. Steers has given us a wonderful story and great characters for kids to grow up with!
