Summary: Cute book about friendship and accepting differences.
Review: A friend lent me this book and it brightened my day! What an important idea to share with kids: the idea that we need to accept each other for what we ARE and not what we want the other person to be. This book effectively teaches us about what to look for in a friend. It reminded me a bit of some of the qualities of Marc Brown's "Arthur" books, as well as Kevin Henkes' work. Very enjoyable; great illustrations.
