Review: I bought this book the other day--for ME! I loved the illustrations and thought the story was fresh and fun! I, of course, shared it with my 4 year-old daughter, and she had me read it several times! It is now one of OUR favorites!

Summary: A delightful book share!
Review: I own this book and recently purchased it for my son's kindergarten classroom. I read it to the class because they were getting ready to plant flowers to be braught home on Mothers Day and it was the first day of spring! The children can relate to the things that Fran likes and tries to feed her flower! They all enjoyed the book and laughed many times. We talked about the illustrations when we turned the pages and they really liked the bright and beautiful colors used. It was FUN reading this book, it kept their interest and most of all it was great seeing the smiles on their faces!

Review: Well, well, well. Surely the story is short for ages of 4 to 8. But it is an edifying one with wonderful episodes and illustration. As I can recall, this is the first book in which I find the illustrator changes a character¡¦s outfit throughout the book. Slowly flip the pages and you¡¦ll find the sun inside of you heart is shining when you see Fran and Fred go out of the back door and see the beautiful big flower.
