Summary: WONDERFUL book - highly recommended for gift giving
Review: My daughter received this book from her grandma, who growing up remembers her mom singing it. But she now can't remember the tune. (I agree with the previous reviewer in that the music score should have been included with the book.)

We read it over & over & over...and I hardly get tired of it. The book has a wonderful appeal to it & the pictures are soothing & calm. The print on the opposite pages are bold & easy to read.

Summary: Great story for babies.
Review: My son is eighteen months old and he loves to have this book read to him. The illustrations are soft, yet he is always pointing out the "baby" or the "fishy". The sentences are short, the whole book is short, so it easily captures his attention.

It will be one of my favorites long after he has outgrown it.

Summary: Welcome version of a traditional lullaby
Review: We were delighted to find in book form the traditional lullaby sung in our family for 3 generations. Lovely soft illustrations that match the text perfectly but wish they had included the music that goes with the song.
