Summary: I really liked this book
Review: I liked this book a lot, even better than the other two American Girls books made the same way. Kit wins a contest for a free trip via train to Glacier National Park with her Aunt Millie. The book includes several interviews that Kit writes up for an article in the paper, with hoboes, train porters, a girl named Dorothy, a Blackfeet girl, and her brother's roommate. Kit also meets with President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt, who "sign" her book. It also includes photos from the 1934 World's Fair and Glacier National Park. The pull-out items include a Decoder, given to Kit by Stirling, The article Kit wrote that won the contest, a map of Chicago with a bookmark, a paper whistle, a Glacier Park booklet, a lantern, a paper rosette with ribbon, and a puzzle that you are supposed to form into an F and a D for FDR's initials. At the end is an atricle by Kit exlpaining her experiences on the trip. I liked this book better than the other two (one was about Samantha and the other about Molly)
