Review: This book started off the phenomenon known as Thoroughbred. It was the brainchild of Joanna Campbell, a gifted author and a horse lover. I passed this series by on the shelf for almost ten years before finally buying A Horse Called Wonder, at the age of 20, many years older than the target audience. At the age of 22 now, I am still buying them and reading them over and over. This series has a wide and varied audience, with many of the fans being older teens and young adults who grew up reading these books. The series has inspired literally hundreds of fan fiction stories that have sharpened our writing skills and led to lifelong friendships with other fans.

The TB series MUST be saved! HarperCollins can not cancel it. Hundreds of girls will miss out on the wonderment that is Thoroughbred if this happens.
