Summary: Author Darren Shan does it again!!!!
Review: "Tunnels of Blood," the third volume in Darren Shan's "Cirque Du Freak" series, is buy far the best so far. In this volume, we learn lots more about vampires and one of their greatest enemies, and also a bit of history. Like all the "Cirque Du Freak" books, this one ends with the dreadful last three words (as all the books would I predict) TO BE CONTINUED, and the fourth book is not coming out till September!!!!! The publisher has got to get with it and start publishing more than two books in this series a year!!! People in the U.K. are soon to get the SIXTH book in the series. A great read!!!

Summary: Vampires....Good or Evil?
Review: Good or Evil? Darren Shan, the author of the Saga of Darren Shan, has never drawn the boundary line clearly. He believes it depends on which position you are and which aspect you are looking from. For example, in a war, or in the society, our enemies are always the one who has different beliefs from ours. In other words, people fight for their faith. This kind of things happens all the time in the Saga of Darren Shan. For instance, Tunnels of Blood ¡Vthe third book of the Saga, an introduction to the history and the world of vampires and their brothers who have different faith from them, the vampanezes.

Basically, Tunnel of Blood is talking about a half-vampire¡¦s, Darren Shan (the author gave the main character his own name), his best friend¡¦s, Evera the snake-boy, and his mentor¡¦s, Mr. Crepsley the vampire, visit to a small town. Because it was under threat by a vampaneze ¡Va kind of vampire, but they kill human beings for blood¡Xand the town was Mr. Crepsley¡¦s home, he brought his assistant, Darren Shan, to help him, yet without telling him what he thought. He went out furtively everyday and cases of murder were on the television everyday. Most importantly, all the victims had their blood all sucked out. No one knew who did it, but Darren Shan thought he knows. He believed it was Mr. Crepsley, so he decided to stop him from killing the next person and kill the evil vampire. Nevertheless, things went totally wrong! Someone unknown to Darren Shan, a vampaneze the real killer, suddenly popped out and kidnapped Evera. Darren Shan almost killed his mentor, just because Mr. Crepsley never told him what he thinks. The relationship between them two is very weird because they did not trust each other, even though they are mentors and assistant. Finally, in this book Mr. Crespley realized that he has to trust his assistant before he wants his assistant to trust himself. They finally work together as a real mentor and assistant.

Incredible twists and plans were taking place in this book. Unlike previous vampire stories, Dracula for instance, Darren Shan¡¦s vampires are not evils, they don¡¦t kill human and they don¡¦t view human beings as animals. However, sometimes they love human.

Anyway, I enjoy it a lot. Honestly, I could not put the book down as I start reading it. I believe anyone who enjoys or can read Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings will definitely love this book!

Summary: One of my favorites
Review: Newly endorsed by J.K. Rowling, this third book in the Cirque du Freak series follows the vampires assistant Darren Shan and his Master Mr. Crepsley in an adventure under the streets of a nameless city that turns out to be Mr. Crepsleys old stomping grounds. An altercation with an old nemesis follows when Darrens friend and traveling companion Evra the snake boy is kidnapped by a vampanese.
Gorier than the other books, Tunnel of Blood also incorporates a love interest for Darren. Fans of vampire lore will enjoy the debunking of some traditional myths and the creation of new. Darren makes an intriguingly sympathetic half vampire; readers will be pleased to discover the saga continues with a fourth title, especially since there are still loose ends from the first two books. I can't keep these on my library shelves, the entire series is very popular with middle schoolers.

Summary: Great Books
Review: The Saga of Darren Shan is, quite simply the greatest young adults' book series since K.A. Applegate's Animorphs. After I read the first book in the series, Cirque du Freak, I couldn't help but order the other books that were out in England. I'm to Book 7 now and I can't wait for the others to come out. The reason I'm writing this review is because Tunnels of Blood wasn't my favorite, but the series really picks up in Book 4. So for those of you who might lose faith with Blood, just stick it out until Vampire Mountain comes out.

Review: This book continues the nonstop action that is in the Saga of Darren Shan. When a mad vampaneze runs loose in Mr. Crepsley's hometown, Darren, the snakeboy, Evra Von, and Mr. Crepsley must journey there to stop him. Mr. Crepsley goes out every night to investigate. Darren and Evra become suspicious when they hear of several bodies that were found DRAINED OF BLOOD!!! (They do not yet know of the mad vampaneze.) Darren and Evra start following Mr. Crepsley. In a butcher's shop, Darren comes face to face with the mysterious vampire's cousin. In another heartpounding adventure, Darren once again delivers a brilliant book. Highly recommended.
