Summary: I loved this book
Review: After first reading this book at my Norwegian mother-in-laws home just before Christmas a couple of years ago, I fell in love with it. The story is heartwarming, the pictures are adorable. I now have my own copy and have bought it as gifts for a number of special children I know.
It's about a group of Norwegian families who have their homes next to each other in a place they call Noisy Village, because of all the fun loiving children who live there. It gives one an accurate and most delightful picture of how Norwegians celebrate Christmas. For older children with better reading ability there are two books by the same author about life in Noisy Village. There is also a most enjoyable DVD about life in Noisy Village.

Review: I am 12 yrs. old and this has been my favorite Christmas book since the first time my mother read it to me. I would reccomend this book to anyone and everyone. Share this delightful story with your kids and watch their faces light up when you read it. They'll bring it out year after year!

Summary: Wonderful Christmas story and illustrations
Review: My daughter picked this book at the library when she was two, and we had to read it every night for the next six weeks. I did not tire of reading it to her. She will be getting her own copy for Christmas.
