Review: This is an excellent start for young men to learn about godly character. It is designed for a parent to read through with their son, looking up Scripture references and discussing questions as you go.

We started a small 'club' called "Wise Guys" and have been using this book in a group setting (with some minor modifications) with a co-op of homeschool guys, ages 10-14, with great success; they are interested in the content and have some lively conversations about the issues. My husband leads the group of 16 boys with help from another dad and they meet on Friday nights for about 2 hours (going over one lesson each week) and the guys actually seem to really like it!

I don't know how it is in your town, but around here none of the churches we know of offer anything of this type for the "tween"-age guys.
