Rating: Summary: Think before you buy Review: I purchased this book to expose my Pre-K students to the numbers 1 through 10, and I was disappointed that it's out of their league. The text is really for 7 or 8 year olds. Also, be forwarned that the number six refers to Los Ninos Heroes (Boy War Heroes who were killed by a U.S. invasion). The accompanying illustration depicts the boys fighting, firing rifles, and one boy is wounded(bleeding). Also, the number nine depicts a matador ("killers of the bulls") about to plunge a sword into a charging, bleeding bull. Consider your audience before purchasing this book.
