Review: I used this book in my 2nd grade class as we did a real short unit on Texas. My students and I took a "field trip" all across Texas. Tom travels through the Lonestar state collecting various Texas treasures. I loved this book and my class really enjoyed it also. It's a great way to teach the symbols of Texas.
