Summary: The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Review: I originally bought this book for my children when they were toddlers. They loved it and we practically wore it out. "That's what a wise turtle would do" became a slogan around our house meaning that you need not go to extreme positions, but should compromise ("But then again, maybe it's best if I keep my head out sometimes and sometimes pull it in."

I am a university administrator and started using the expression around my faculty to explain stubborn people who had a hard time adapting to changes in their environment. We even share it with our MBA students in a Management class.

Too bad it is out of print. If you can find it, you'll love it.

Summary: Turtle Tale
Review: I think Turtle Tale is an excellent book for children ages 4-8 because other children younger than 4 won't understand and chidren older than 8 will think it is too chilish. Turtle Tale is a story about a turtle that can't decide whether to keep his head in his shell or keep it out. The story begins with an apple falling on the turtles head, so turtle decides to keep his head in his shell but couldn't see or eat anything. The next day he decided to take his head out of his shell and keep it out until he gets attacked by a wolf. The wolf runs straight for turtles head. Will turtle finally decide to put his head in his shell or will the wolf eat him. If you want to find out I guess you will have to read the book.

Summary: The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Review: The Tale of Peter Rabbit is an above average book for children ages 5-10 because it has lots of words in it and may be too hard for children younger than 5. The Tale of Peter Rabbit is a story about a rabbit named peter who has 3 other siblings. Peters mother doesn't want him to go into Mrs. McGregors garden but he doesn't listen and goes into the garden anyways. After Peter got into the garden and ate some cabbages he started to feel sick so he went to look for some parsley. He later ran into Mr. McGregor who chased Peter out of his garden. Peter lost his shoes and his coat while he was being chased. The morale of this story is listen to your parents.
