Summary: Great Introduction to Twain
Review: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a great adventure story for young people.
Kids today may ask why so many people seem to be interested in capturing Jim, or why Jim is running away, or the idea of running to freedom.
Kids learn about Harriet Tubman in school, so don't be afraid of Huckleberry Finn.
Personally, I think Mark Twain wrote the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn because he was disappointed in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Too many people read Sawyer and thought of Slavery as the Good 'Ole Days. But with "Finn", Twain doesn't leave much unsaid about the evils of slavery, while telling a whale of an adventure.
Give kids a chance--The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a great story.

Review: This book is amazing. An all Time American Classic. The follow up to "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" follows his best friend Huckleberry and a black slave named Jim as they journey to free Jim. I give this 2 thumbs WAAAAAAAy UP. A must read
