Rating: Summary: Hmmmm. Okay. Review: And I was actually starting to like Kara.If you like Kara, you might not after this book. She gets way to obsessed with this singer and lies, cheats, cuts classes, and steals. You do get a decent amount of foreshadowing but Karas acts make that not matter so much. Kara and Adrienne get into a big fight (what else is new) and ruins the whole book. I gave it three stars because the shapeshifter is important for the next book, and it does ok foreshadoiwing. I hope later books can make up for the way Kara acts.
Rating: Summary: YAY!!! Review: For those of you who gave this book a bad review, I believe you are wrong. Kara is not a brat. In fact, she is my favorite charactor. After she got into the problem, she couldn't stop. She had no control. So you should cut her some slack. Kara, in this book, does not understand her part in all this. She doesn't know what she was meant to do. I found it fun to read as she made her way to her destiny in the next three books. PS*If you do end up reading "Trial be Fire", or the next series, you will see she makes up for her mistakes-and more. ~Kara Fan
Rating: Summary: More like four and a half stars Review: I liked this book, though the way Kara acts is not good at all. However I would like to offer a little defense to it. Kara is not entirely under her own control when she does those things. Also, I noticed some people complain that they sang about Avalon. The whole town sang that song; it was already a hit, so it's not Emily, Adriane, and Kara's fault that they happend to be involved in what it mentioned. A few people I know thought they found plot errors, but these are all shown to be non-errors in the next book. I liked the power music has in this book, especially at the climax. Overall, not the best in the series, but still a fun read.
Rating: Summary: Spellsinger's Mishaps Review: the book wasn't exactly my taste. I've always liked Adriane.(I guess "like" isn't exactly right. I guess obsessed would do it.) But Kara and Adriane leared to like each other and trust each other.I noticed that Emily wasn't in the book a lot, either. Nor the animals of Ravenswood. By, Silver Uquq
