Summary: Good book for 1950's Civil Rights movement
Review: This book challenges the reader to see life in a 1950's southern town where boundaries, both physical and cultural, divided a town. People, black and white, who recognized the problem and wanted to be an instrument of change had to have tremendous amounts of courage to see it through. This is an excellent book for students to see what challenges have been overcome, and what challenges are yet to be conquered.
